Saturday June 19th 2010 - a fantastic day

The Tollerton Village Event is a family and community day arranged by the Village Event Committee in order to enhance the Tollerton village community, hopefully with a fun day for all. Village groups, organisations and individuals can have stalls for free and raise funds for their respective causes and charities.

TABU creates website forum

The FA are thinking about Nottingham being a World Cup venue. If Nottingham is to host World Cup matches then a new stadium will need to be built in Rushcliffe. A large housing development is also proposed for 4000 new houses.

We, along with other local Parish Councils are opposed to these developments on the grounds of intrusion into the green belt and the traffic implications.

A campaign group has recently been established to represent residents in Bassingfield and the surrounding area in defending greenbelt land against development projects.
